South Wales is a region of Wales surrounded by mid Wales to the north and England over to the east. Its population sits in at around 2.2 million which amazingly makes up three-quarters of the total population of Wales. Cardiff houses the largest number of people at 400,000 with Swansea coming in at 250,000 and Newport 150,000.

South Wales is home to a wealth of locations offering everything from stunning natural landscapes to absorbing and fascinating historical sites.

Swansea is continuing to rise in popularity as a place to live in the UK thanks to its blend of breath-taking beaches and urban lifestyles. It’s nightlife also rivals that of capital city Cardiff, Wind Street in particular having everything you might need for a great night out. From bars to pubs to clubs, the variety on offer in Swansea guarantees you and your friends a night to remember.

Cardiff is not only one of the more beautiful cities in the United Kingdom but its location makes it a perfect place to stay if you plan to explore the rest of South Wales. Of course, the city itself has plenty to offer too, include Cardiff Castle, a truly striking structure with its gothic fairy-tale-like towers. Fans of rugby will want to check out Principality Stadium where you’ll be able to see the Wales national rugby union team in action. Aside from spectating games, visitors are also able to take a behind the scenes tour of the stadium itself.

Less than an hour’s drive from Cardiff is the Brecon Beacons, an area widely considered one of the most stunning parts of the country rich with a varied landscape featuring North American conifers and moorland. The Brecon Beacons was founded in 1957 and borders the Black Mountains to the west and east. Pony lovers will be pleased to know the location is famous for its wild ponies. The National Park also has a number of beautiful waterfalls including the highest in Wales called Henryd Falls. Walkers and bikers gravitate toward The Brecon Beacons for its numerous trails and stunning scenery through countryside, waterfalls and more.

Carreg Cennen Castle is a fascinating structure near the River Cennen and in the village of Trap not just because of its size and history but arguably more so for its location. Positioned above a limestone precipice, Carreg Cennen offers an unrivalled view of Brecon Beacons National Park. The castle may have been in a ruinous state since 1462, but what remains and the location its in make it one of the more intriguing castles in Wales.

Taking a break from the lush greens of the Brecon Beacons, the Glamorgan Heritage Coast is another gem in South Wales. This 14-mile stretch might offer the likes of rolling hills, lively markets, castles and churches inland but stick to the coast and you’ll yield further treasures including Nash Point and the rocky beaches of Aberthaw, a location particular popular for wildlife viewing, surfing and fishing. Take a walk along the 9-mile Glamorgan Heritage Coast trail and admire the cliffs, nature reserves and ancient landmarks it has to offer.

Great local company!

Excellent service. When I rang them to explain my hot tub needed a good clean they not only told me they had a deal on they also had someone round to my house the very next morning.

Excellent service

Excellent service, very helpful consultation and delivery and installation went without a hitch (unusual for us, there's normally issues with anything we do!). Had it a few days and so far so good, love the experience.
